Monolith Records hits 3 years of releases and celebrates with a special ep/compilation gathering some of the most capable and loyal producers contributing to the platform across the years. Sirio Gry J’s concept behind the release is the Unknown referred to the darker undiscovered potential powers of the human mind. Since perception shapes our known reality, we are able to bend the truth through our mind, as it is the center in which our reality itself gets assembled. The unknown dark areas of it, limiting the knowledge of reality, leave a gap that becomes the hole in the soul of the Humans, dooming mankind.
The unknown areas marked as 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, quickly develop in two simple, yet unconventional noisy/ambient abstract cuts, before and after a more concrete acidic ambient/techno track featuring Stefano Rocchi.
An extraordinary video contribution for this collaboration comes from Alessandro Bavari whose vision proposes an hypnotic animation of a grotesque character called Arturo. An absurd action development that sees Arturo morphing, almost becoming the track itself, merged in a sort of sci-fi surrealistic estethics. The unquestionable high quality output, coming from an extensive and refined experimentation and research among arts such as paint, music, photography and multimedia manipulation, accounts on his unique language using industrial and organic elements combined through computer digitalization. The resulting unique output that can be considered as "a kind of contamination among the arts dissolving the boundaries which distinguish themselves”. Video:

Several dancefloor edits of the same track are provided from Alhek, Scam., Artik, Blasted and Stefano Rocchi and S0D, each one bringing his personal sound concept making the release even more special.
"We’ve gone out to explore other worlds and the universe, without having explored our own labyrinth of dark passages and secret chambers, and without finding what lies behind doorways that ourself have sealed. “
