The sardinian deejay and Producer Scam. contributing on Monolith since the very first release, delivers a precious collection of tunes, as an epitaph of his music journey, experiences and knowledge. Constantly experiencing electronic sounds, following a path, digging more and more of them, will leave a precious heritage within the human mind.
This album is a collection of Reminiscences passing through darker places, filled of rhythmic corridors planted into minimalistic techno, electro and ambient body-assets. Each track is somehow inspired by the sound experiences collected across the existence, characterised by unsetting feelings merged into retro-futuristic and horrorific soundscapes. After their incubation within the brain, The Reminiscences will blossom and will be necessary to re-assemble them into new sounds and ideas, according to the universe laws of the hosting mind. Deep grooves coming from Analog machines, abrasive basses and field recordings and synthesis coming from handmade machines and electroacoustic drumming are the key elements of the unique sound of Scam., which finds in this album its own Manifesto, compressing years of ideas, influences and experiences. Making the experience even more encyclopedic is the first appearance of Ness (also half of The Gods Planet TGP) with a brilliant remix of Chiral, and Supersimmetria who closes the album with a gigantic industrialesque haunting slow-tempo rework of Scorch.
