'"Deadpoint" is a solid music narration, a compact array of physical and mental mechanisms sorted in a perpetual connection. Compared to his previous works, here the noise is not only functional to define a style, but it also represents symbolically the incessant cerebral activity flooded by information and bewildered by uncertainty. Harmonic elements are left aside, to highlight more the relentless rhythmic assault through synthesis and subtraction. Gears are grinding to the rhythm of thought: a continuous mutual chase of fears and pauses to see the concepts taking shape becoming reality. Underlying impatience and claustrophobia characterize 'Deadpoint’ where the rhythmic impulses free the body that is able to move and break out of the cage in which it is forced.
The anguish of distance from life is transformed into a robust, dynamic and deliberately obsessive rhythmic component. Air blends into the soundscapes creating glimpses and fractures in seeking light; a deliberate, sought and found reaction to indolence. The music is active action, it is movement, a catharsis to free the soul from the chains of time; a time that has forced to look inside ourselves without knowing what we would find with technology being both the cross and the delight of this suspended time of absence.
Loaded with reminiscences from techno, darkwave, experimental electronics such as power noise and dark ambient, the work is complex and elegant, consistent without any allowance to drama, regardless the darkness permeating every track. Produced with the wisdom of a long-standing alchemist in search of the ultimate balance, like a circle or a sphere, emblems of perfection, this album opens and closes with more meditative and sober tracks, cadenced to welcome and leave the listener in a state of restless tension.'
